Remark:
这首歌大致讲一个叛逆的女孩，试图通过随意与别人发生关系来证明自己，并与社会对抗。
有几个不好理解的地方：
一是“paint lines”到底指的是什么，对此网友众说纷纭，有说是用鼻子吸毒，也有说是暗喻自有暗香盈袖慰，总之都是作为消极对抗的一种方式来理解的。但是据Stuart说，创作这首歌时，他碰巧看到了一辆为人行横道喷漆用的卡车，于是就想，如果要给Jane安排一份工作的话，那就是人行横道粉刷匠好了。（ 佩服一下大家的联想功力！）
二是“you will have a girl/boy tonight” 是指怀孕还是做佳节又重阳爱。如果当怀孕讲，倒也能和穿男孩的套衫那一段扯上关系（以此来隐瞒怀孕的事实）。但是通篇看来，似乎Stuart并非想叙述一个未婚先孕的少女的故事，而是一个秉持性开放态度（甚至不计较男女了）的叛逆少女的故事，鉴于这一句出现频率是如此之高，我觉得还是做“性人比黄花瘦爱”来理解比较好。另外，“And you hope that they will see”也可以作为佐证，如果是怀孕要生孩子的话，怎么还会期望别人看见呢？
这篇歌词也是随处充满了BS式的幽默，例如“You know a girl who's tax free on her backand making Plenty cash”，以及“a dose of thrush you got when licking railings”的隐喻，搞懂意思后相信就会忍俊不禁。
